We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic people who are passionate about human rights and fearless in standing up for marginalized communities. Our interns generally have backgrounds in politics, law, human rights, fundraising, development studies, and journalism.
Interns must commit to work at least four days a week for a set period of time, usually three months. Anyone unable to make this commitment can still work at PASSOP as a volunteer.
We accept applications from undergraduates, graduates, and post-graduates for internships.
We currently offer three internship positions:
Legal Intern
Legal interns support our paralegal department and have contact with asylum seekers and refugees daily. You will interview clients, write appeal letters, research, and assist in advocacy for asylum seekers and refugees.
Fundraising Intern
Fundraising interns should have additional experience in grant writing and fundraising for non-profit organizations. You will focus on processing donations, assisting in budgeting for events and projects, writing grant proposals, and networking with non-profit organizations and donors.
Media Intern
Media interns have control over our social media presence, managing multiple media platforms within the organization. These include our main website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We value good communication skills and a background in media and IT.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please e-mail interns.passop@gmail.com with your CV and covering letter.
